JAPAN CAMPAIGN (DAY TWO)
Last month, in the middle of Tokyo’s scorching summer, we braved the heat and shot our first campaign in one of our favourite cities.
Day two of shooting looked a little different to day one. While our first day was spent in a photo studio in Shibuya, on day two we travelled an hour out from central Tokyo to Hachioji, where we spent most of our day in a beautiful home and nearby park.
With snacks and plenty of cold water stocked in the fridge, we began setting up and exploring our location for the day. The space was beautiful. Designed to feel enveloped by the earth. The moment you walked in the door you immediately felt a little more at ease. The smell of the wood that made up the structure was calming.
Something we were delighted to find in the space was a perfect nook that’s dimensions fit the Beni Bed as if they were made for each other. We immediately set up a Beni Bed in the nook awaiting our first models to arrive on set, Ire and Iru (8 and 5).
They arrived excited for a day of shooting, and we were happy to see how excited they were to see us. They immediately jumped on the Beni Bed exactly where we had planted it.
Throughout the day we battled the heat, especially as we headed out to shoot at a nearby park. Umbrellas were out, mini fans, sports drinks - we did what we could to stay cool and enjoyed bowls of cold noodles on our return.
It was in that park that we got one of our favourite shots of the day. A moment captured by chance as we set up a shot with Maiki, our adult model. Iru (5) found a dandelion, closed her eyes, and made a wish. We were able to capture that sweet moment.
Overall, our two day shoot in Tokyo was a great experience and one we won’t forget anytime soon. We’re so grateful to the team that made it possible and hope you enjoy the images that have come from it.

日本キャンペーン（２日目）
先月の猛暑の最中、私たちは暑さに負けず、初めて東京でのキャンペーン撮影を行いました。
二日目の撮影は、一日目とは少し違います。渋谷のスタジオで過ごした一日目でしたが、二日目は中心部から1時間ほど離れた八王子へ。美しいお家と、公園での撮影でした。
撮影に使われたお家はとても魅力的で、今回の撮影にぴったりでした。一歩家の中に足を踏み入れると、木の温もりが安心感を覚えるような、まるで大地に包まれているような感覚になるデザイン。そして何よりも、木材の香りが心を落ち着かせてくれました。冷蔵庫には軽食や冷たい水をたっぷりと用意し、撮影のセッティングを始めながら、家の中を探索しました。
そしてそこには、まるでBENIベッドのために作られたかのような、BENIベッドがぴったりと収まる完璧なスペースが。チームはすぐにベッドをセットし、モデルのイレとイル（8歳と5歳）の到着を待ちました。
イレとイルが到着。撮影二日目も楽しみにしてくれていた様子で、再びチームと会えて嬉しそうな姿に私たちも幸せな気分に。セットしておいたBENIベッドを見つけると、二人とも一目散に飛び乗りました。
そして公園での撮影。まさに暑さと格闘でした。日傘をさし、ハンディファンを使い、スポーツドリンクを飲み————。暑さを凌ぐためにできる限りのことをし、最後は冷たい麺をボウルいっぱいに盛り付けてエナジーチャージ。なんとか乗り切りました。
公園撮影での私たちのお気に入りの一枚。モデルのマイキと撮影準備をしていた時、偶然捉えた一瞬です。たんぽぽを見つけ、目を閉じて願い事をするイル（5歳）。その微笑ましい瞬間を写真に収めることができました。
東京での2日間の撮影は素晴らしい経験となり、忘れられない思い出となりました。この撮影を実現してくれたチームに心から感謝しています。そして、皆様に写真を楽しんでいただけますように。
